/Juan José Montiglio Murúa

Juan José was a member of the Socialist Party and part of the presidential security system, GAP, where he chose to be called “Aníbal”. On September 11th, 1973, he leaded the battle that was fought that day in “La Moneda” against the military. He only left the Government Palace when the President himself gave him the order to surrender. As he stepped out of the building he was arrested, and then interrogated, tortured and murdered.
